Todd Chermak

Todd Chermak is the Chief Scientific Advisor for Third Angle, Inc. Todd is part of the Third Angle team that works with large and small companies from across the globe, including Abbott, American College of Chest Physicians, Boeing, and ExxonMobil. Todd uses his unique background and education to help uncover these companies’ “third angles”, helping unlock and solve their most complex problems. 

Todd brings more than 28 years of combined experience in the biopharmaceutical, diagnostics, and food/nutrition businesses within Abbott and most recently CellCarta.  Todd has held a variety of technical and leadership roles in R&D, Operations, QA and Regulatory Affairs.  

At Third Angle, Todd works diligently to develop and execute innovation strategies across businesses and in global markets. He integrates complex technical and regulatory programs to drive significant revenue growth, build effective and efficient quality management systems, and much more. 

Todd has served on several boards and academic advisory positions including the Regulatory Affairs Professional Society (RAPS), Lambs Farm, the International Life Sciences Institute, the Dean’s Advisory Board for the School of Pharmacy at Purdue University, as a Ford Scholar at Northwestern’s Kellogg School of Management and most recently he helped to create and run the CoVAXCEN consortium within Northwestern University’s Feinberg School of Medicine, Institute for Global Health. 

In his free time, Todd enjoys traveling with his wife and two children, playing video games with family and friends and studying investment strategies.
